In addition, you should find a different area of the house to store any old papers, old books, or old clothes and vacuum your attic regularly. When cockroaches cannot find any other source of food, they commonly eat their friends, or the remains of their friends.

No matter what type of insect infestation you may have in your attic, you should never set of fumigators or bug bombs in order to try to control your problem. Even with the heating system turned off, there have been reports of this type of attic extermination going bad when the cans explode.
