Window fans are also great source of air conditioning and do not contain any CFC's as compared to the high cooling air conditioners. They allow a lot of fresh air in the room and throws out the stale and impure air. The general size for a window fan is 20''. The large window fans are little fussy to install. There are smaller units also available in the market that are quiet easy to install. The window fans are very helpful in reducing the smoke and fumes in the house that is collected in the cooking process and the heat released by the electric appliances.
